Under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), College students have the following rights:

- To inspect and review their educational records within 45 days of the College receiving notification. A student should submit a written request to the campus President, Registrar, or Director of Education, and state which records he or she would like to review. The College will make the arrangements and notify the student of the time and place for record review. For students who do not live within commuting distance, the College will send a copy of the requested records.
- To seek to amend education records if the student believes there are errors or misleading information. The student must notify in writing the campus President, Registrar, or Director of Education which part of the record needs to be changed and why the information is inaccurate or misleading. The College will notify the student of its decision. A student may request an Academic Review Board concerning a decision not to amend their record.
- To consent to disclosing personally identifiable information contained in the student's education records. FERPA authorizes disclosure without consent to school officials with legitimate educational interests.

For college students, parents have no inherent rights to inspect a student's education records. The right to inspect is limited solely to the student. Records may be released to parents only if the student provides written consent or the parent(s) provide evidence that they declare the student as a dependent on their most recent Federal Income Tax form.
